What did the Women's Ministry accomplish in 2011?
Set up recycling bins inside church for aluminum cans and plastic bottles.
Contributed 6 bags of groceries for CAIN Easter Campaign - "Everything But The Ham".
Held a Kentucky Derby party at the church and sponsored a "hat" competition with prizes.
Met at River Downs on May 21st for a horse racing outing.
Held a "Split - the- Pot" raffle at Northside PRIDE for the Christmas Social funding.
Began sponsoring a young woman in her ministry of missionary work to take the Word of God into Sudan, where the poor have never heard the Good News.
Purchased 3 box fans for CAIN during the summer for families struggling with the heat.
Set up tables in front of church for the Northside Community Yard Sale and sold food items in the church kitchen.
Held "Split - the- Pot" raffles after church during October and November for the Christmas Social funding.
Contributed 6 bags of groceries for CAIN Thanksgiving Campaign - "Everything But The Turkey".
Sponsored 3 families for Christmas - those struggling to make ends meet.
