Proclaiming the Word through excellent preaching
Bringing vision, direction and skills to assist the church in achieving significant outreach to new people, growth and change
Creating a safe, nurturing and mutually supportive environment where people feel welcomed and affirmed
Effectively conveying the message of God's love for all people to those who have never heard this message
We believe that pastorship is a declaration of faith with the purpose of building up the body of Christ in the world. This vocation focuses predominantly on the internal needs of a Christian community.
While dedicating the necessary attention to the needs of New Spirit MCC, our Pastor is also challenged with the major responsibility of representing the church in the community at large.
This is presently a part time-time position, but there is plenty of potential for the right Pastor to develop it into a full-time position while supplementing an income.
New Spirit MCC in Cincinnati, Ohio is ready to meet the Senior Pastor that God has prepared for us! In order to achieve our vision of "loving all, liberating spirits, journeying together, creating peace, through Christ", we'll need an individual who is especially strong in the following areas:
