Rev Melody Wolder named interim pastor
Cincinnati, Ohio (USA) - New Spirit Metropolitan Community Church is pleased to announce that the Reverend Melody Wolder has been named Interim Pastor. Rev. Wolder is in the process of relocating from San Diego, California and will begin her term at New Spirit MCC on January 1, 2008.

Ground Work – Come, join in discussion during our Sunday morning bible study titled Ground Work. We begin at 9:30am and go until approximately 10:10am. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.


Prayer BearsKnow someone who needs a prayer? Send a bear to show you care! These cuddly pals are  available free of charge. We request a $4 donation, but a bear can be provided regardless of ability to pay. Please see Rick C. or Aaron L.


Caracole House – We continue to welcome volunteers for this vital ministry. We fee both the body and soul by providing a home-cooked meal and transportation to/from church for resients of Caracole House, an agency that provides crucial support to individuals with HIV/AIDS. Please see James G. if you are interested in volunteering.


CAIN – Churches Active In Northside is a coalition of local churches that maintains a Choice Pantry and provides emergency assistance to Northside residents who are under-employed. We need volunteers on Monday nights to staff the Choice Pantry and assist visitors with their shopping. Please see Jim S. or Rev. Melody for more information.

Cincinnati Youth Group begins Steppin' Out Saturdays
Cincinnati, OH - New Spirit Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) and the Gay & Lesbian Community Center of Cincinnati (the Center) have a summer of fun in store for local youth ages 13 to 20. The groups are partnering to enhance the already successful Cincinnati Youth Group (CYG) program with a bi-monthly event series called Steppin' Out Saturdays (SOS).
